My sweet doggy Roxanne got hit by our neighbor 2 weeks ago. She broke both of her back legs and we weren't sure if she was going to make it. We rushed her to the 24 hour emergency care and they x-rayed her and gave her a shot to deal with the pain. Thankfully my Dad decided to get the surgery she needed to survive and so the doctor performed surgery on her the next day. They put a plate and screws in the bones, and staples up and down each leg where the incisions were. We were able to bring her home a few days later, and she has been recovering quickly. By next week she should be able to get the staples out but she can't walk on her own for another 4 weeks. My Dad bought a sling that we carry her with like a suitcase:) to take her potty. I'm so glad that she is still in our lives, I just love her!
